Kurt is a co-founder and member of Applied Licensing, LLC. Kurt attended the University of Michigan, graduating from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy in 2009 with a B.A. degree in Public Policy. Kurt attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School, working as an intern for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Robert Young prior to receiving his J.D. degree in 2012. Kurt is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Wisconsin, and has been an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Wisconsin since 2013. After obtaining his licenses Kurt worked as counsel to St. Clair Intellectual Property Consultants, Inc., supporting the company’s patent licensing and patent litigation programs. Kurt co-founded Applied Licensing in the fall of 2013. Kurt has served as the company’s Vice President & General Counsel since then, and concluded his work with St. Clair in 2015.
